Default 3G Users Reporting Yellow-Tinted Screens

Just a few days after its release a problem has occurred. Many iPhone 3G users are reporting a yellowish tint to their new phones. Some people think it may be as simple as a different color temperature, rather than a faulty screen. I can definitely see a difference, but I don't really see it as a problem.

UPDATE: Hidden iPhone 3G firmware "fixes" yellow screens.

Early adopters of iPhone 3G have discovered an updated firmware build hidden from iTunes' update system that appears to fix several issues, including the yellow screen tint that some believe is a flaw.

I notice a blue tint screen on my Ipod Touch, but this only happens rarely. (once, and that was 2 months ago) and always seems to appear when there is a problem restoring my ipod and the DFU screen comes up.
